If you are looking for some exciting summer camps right here in Friendswood, we are the spot for you!  We have a wide variety of camps  for your aspring writers, scientists, and musicians!  Class sizes are limited and your child will enjoy instruction in art, music, science, literacy, and other areas taught by experienced teachers.

There are 10 weeks of classes beginning June 14th. All camps listed in this section meet Mon-Thurs from 9:00-2:00 unless stated otherwise.  Most camps are set up so you can register for single days. Cost is $40 per day.   We also have art and music classes that meet once a week in the afternoons, and you can add on the afternoon music and art to your schedule for a longer day of class.  This music/art block meets from 2:00-3:30. Please check the schedule for additional information.

We have several camps offered outside of our regular 9:00-2:00 camps such as Piano Blast Off and   Art.  Prices for these camps are listed with the camp description,

Multiple times

Children must attend the full week of camp, single day classes not available.

Is your child interested in piano, but you’re not sure if they are really will maintain interest?   Come give them a “taste” with our one-week BLAST OFF class! Afterwards, sign up for a fun group piano class that will continue throughout the summer and into the fall!

This is a wonderful class for absolute beginners-   You do not even need to have a piano!   Children will learn some basics of rhythm and music, and learn to play enjoyable songs in an ensemble.   The week-long class will culminate with a short “recital” on the last day.   If students enjoy the class, they can then sign up for group piano lessons with a similar format or move on to private lessons.  Group piano meets once a week for 45 mins and is $85/month.

With piano camps, it's important for all the children to be the same age.  We have found that mixing age groups doesn't work well for piano as older kids move considerably faster.  That is why we have multiple age levels for this camp including ages 5-6, 6-7, 7-8.  Please check our schedule to see which week works best for your child.

Nothing is better than small children with big senses of humor. Word play, tongue twisters, and silly songs are great for our bellies (belly laughs, that is), and great for cognition and vocabulary development, too! We draw on the rich tradition of humorous folk songs and explore folk instruments as we sing, play, and laugh together in Giggle.

Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation and even beginning keyboard skills such as hand position—all setting the stage for future school success and formal music lessons.
