Guitar Workshop

Guitar Camp


We are offering a FREE one-day guitar camp for students ages 10 and up.    This is a great opportunity for you to meet our instructor and decide if you are interested in further lessons.

The camp will be for two hours on Saturday May 5th.  There are two time slots depending on your experience.

10:00 am - 12 noon will be for beginning students who have never had guitar lessons before.   

1:00-3:00 pm will be for students who have had at least one year of guitar instruction.

Space is very limited for this free event.   There is no charge, but families will need to register on our website and provide a credit or debit card to hold their spot.  There will be a $10 fee for no-shows.
 
Students will need to bring their own guitar to this event. Beginners  should have fairly new strings on their guitar, if possible. 

We are located in Friendswood TX.  Our studio is on 518 in the Sherwin Williams shopping center between Santa Barbara Italian restaurant and the dance studio.

FRIDAY FUNDAY

Come enjoy our Friday Fundays!  Every Friday at 10:30 we have a special toddler class for your 2-5 yr old student.

Choose a Kindermusik Playdate class, where your child will enjoy instruments, dancing, and other music and movement activities.  

Or select an Art and Music class, where we will enjoy several songs and activities, read one or more great children's books,   and finally enjoy 2-3 art projects.  

Cost for each class is $20, and open plan until 1:00 pm is included in your tuition.

Families may also register for a punchcard of 4 classes for $65 through our website.   This lets you choose the class you want, while still saving!  

WE ASK THAT ALL FUNDAY STUDENTS PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE SO THAT WE CAN HAVE ADEQUATE SUPPLIES PREPARED.    Please register by 10:00 pm the evening before class.

April 27th:  Art & Story, Ms. Sarah:  "Blue Horse"   Come enjoy a class built on the fabulous animals created by  Eric Carle.  We'll start out by enjoying animal-themed music and movement activities.  We'll ride our racehorses,  trot like ponies, and ask what animals say when we wake up in the morning.   Next, we'll read several books by Eric Carle including the Artist who Painted a Blue Horse.   Finally, we'll enjoy painting our own fantastic animals and making a blue collage. 

May 4th: Ms. Tabby - Kindermusik Playdate Class

May 11th:  Ms. Sarah: "At the Zoo"  We'll enjoy all the fun animals at the zoo in this  class.  Students will enjoy singing about their favorite animals including monkeys and giraffes.  We'll read a variety of zoo books including Goodnight Gorilla and I Went to the Zoo.  Finally, we'll enjoy  a variety of art activities including fingerpainting, stickers, and more!

May 18th:  NO CLASS 

May 25th: Ms. Sarah  "In the Garden"  There's lots to see in the garden, including flowers, bugs, and animals.   We'll enjoy being bunnies and flowers and worms!   In art, we'll make a seed collage and enjoy other garden themed activities.
